Lusail 69 Leads Qatar Weekly Unit Sales As Doha Holds Transaction Centre
Qatar's early-August real estate bulletin keeps the market centered on Doha and Lusail, with Lusail 69 leading residential unit activity during the week.
Local Trigger
Ministry of Justice figures reported more than QR353 million in real estate trading from 2 to 6 August, with Doha Municipality completing the largest number of deals. Residential unit transactions accounted for about QR23 million, and Lusail 69 ranked first for unit sales value and count.
Market Segment
The weekly evidence shows a concentrated market. Doha remains the municipal hub for land, commercial and residential deals, while master-planned areas such as Lusail and The Pearl carry much of the apartment visibility. Northern municipalities were much quieter in the same period.
Who Is Affected
Apartment buyers in Lusail should compare district and building evidence rather than assume all branded master-plan stock trades alike. Sellers in lower-volume municipalities may need more realistic pricing or longer marketing periods.
Buyer Checks
Purchasers should verify Ministry of Justice registration rows, district, unit size, title route, foreign-ownership eligibility, service charges, parking, handover status and comparable resale prices. Weekly totals are useful, but one high-value deal can distort a small area.
Outlook
Qatar's market remains active in its core urban nodes. Durable price support will come from repeated registered transactions in Lusail, Doha and The Pearl rather than one-off weekly spikes.
