Doha's QR649 Million June Sales Lead Keeps Qatar Deal Value Concentrated

Qatar's June real estate bulletin shows transaction value still concentrated in Doha, even as Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah carried meaningful land and property counts.

The Monthly Value Was Large

The Ministry of Justice reported QR1.692 billion in June property trading across 541 deals. Doha led by value at about QR649.1 million.

Al Rayyan And Al Wakrah Matter

Al Rayyan recorded about QR418.4 million and Al Wakrah QR236.2 million. Al Rayyan accounted for 34 percent of land area traded, while Doha and Al Wakrah followed.

Mortgages Were Even More Concentrated

June mortgage activity totalled 109 transactions worth about QR3.078 billion, with Doha holding the largest number and value of registered mortgages.

Outlook

Qatar's next signal is whether July bulletins broaden value beyond Doha. Buyers should compare municipality price ranges, land area and mortgage evidence before bidding, especially when a small number of high-value registrations can distort the monthly read.

Qatar Deal Checks

For Qatar, the practical check is whether this local signal is visible in signed contracts, bank approvals, registered transfers, lease negotiations, completed works or enforceable public rules. Buyers should compare Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah with title documents, service charges, financing terms, physical condition, tax exposure, handover timing, official notices, comparable local evidence, vacancy and realistic exit demand before treating the latest news as a price guarantee.
