Doha Captures QR763 Million As Qatar July Property Trading Reaches QR1.86 Billion

Qatar's July real estate bulletin showed strong municipality concentration, with Doha accounting for the largest value share as total registered sales reached nearly QR 1.86 billion.

July Was A Large Registry Month

The Ministry of Justice reported 485 real estate transactions worth QR 1.859 billion in July. The value index rose 10 percent from the previous month, and traded area also increased.

Doha And Al Rayyan Led The Market

Doha Municipality recorded about QR 763.8 million in transactions, while Al Rayyan reached about QR 461.4 million and Al Daayen about QR 230.3 million. Doha also had the largest count share, followed by Al Rayyan and Al Daayen.

Mortgage Concentration Is Important

Mortgage transactions totalled about QR 4.97 billion, with Doha accounting for the largest value. The top ten mortgaged properties represented a large share of total mortgage value, showing how concentrated financing can be.

Buyer Checks

Purchasers should verify title, zoning, sale contract registration, mortgage status, municipality price-per-square-foot range, service charges and ownership eligibility. Lusail and Pearl assets require project-level fee checks.

Outlook

Qatar's July data support confidence in Doha and Al Rayyan liquidity. The next test is whether residential unit transactions broaden beyond the most active municipalities and reduce reliance on a few large mortgage files. Buyers should watch August bulletins for repeat activity in Lusail, The Pearl and Al Wakrah.
