Doha And Lusail Lead Qatar Week With QR377 Million In Property Trading

Qatar's latest weekly property bulletin shows trading above QR377 million, with sales concentrated in Doha, Al Wakra, Al Rayyan and ownership zones such as Lusail and The Pearl Island.

The Week Had Two Layers

The Ministry of Justice reported QR353.4 million in real estate sales contracts for the week of August 2 to 6, plus QR23.8 million in residential-unit contracts. The combined trading volume gives buyers a registered benchmark for early August.

Doha Still Anchors Liquidity

Doha, Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, Umm Slal, Al Daayen, Al Khor and Al Shamal appeared in the traded-property list, while Lusail 69, The Pearl Island, Al Kharayej and Legtaifiya were among named active zones. That distribution matters because villas, land and apartments carry different liquidity.

Units Need Building-Level Proof

A strong weekly total does not guarantee resale depth in every tower. Service charges, occupancy, completion quality and foreign-ownership rules affect apartment value in Lusail and The Pearl more than a national headline.

Buyer Checks

Purchasers should compare Ministry registration data, title status, maintenance fees, district rules, rental evidence and recent transactions in the same building or zone. Land buyers should verify planning and access before relying on future development assumptions.

Outlook

Qatar's market looks active but concentrated. Doha and master-planned zones should remain the easiest places to benchmark, while weaker locations need clearer pricing and rental evidence.
